Beautiful small town near the Canadian border originally populated by people of Dutch ancestry. The downtown area is full of Dutch architecture, shops and bakeries.
So, we went Dutch for lunch…..wrong!
This is a cozy place on the main street through town and was a nice change from bars and pizza. The fried seafood was excellent…especially the clams. The side of tartar sauce was some of the best we have ever had.
The space is made all the more cozy by the fireplace which would come to good use during winter. Service was very good.
Nice and unexpected find in this small town.
