Have eaten here a number of times and it’s always a consistent spot for Thai: Bai Pai
North of UW on NE 65th St so if you live in the area it’s close by and is a step or two above the ambience of some….think Thai Tom which I also happen to like….for its funkiness….of the other local Thai restaurants which we have an abundance of in Seattle. The space is very nice as Thai restaurants go and the service is very good.
Menu is typical of the cuisine and I especially like the yellow curry with chicken. Served with a side of chutney and cucumber relish which, in my mind, defines the dish. The larb and pad thai are also typical and quite good. The Tom Kha Gai is perhaps not their best offering. It seemed a bit on the light side and without the typical flavors.
