It’s been a few years: Lecosho

Downtown to see an exhibit at the Seattle Art Museum and decided this was the place for dinner…..very convenient since it is across the street.

It’s a very intimate space with a small area for outside dining. We decided to go with a selection of smaller plates…some turned out to be not so small. I have to call out the smoked trout salad… of the best dishes I have ever had! The combination of the house smoked trout with the haricots vert, clementines, walnuts and brown butter vinaigrette was simply put…..amazing. If you visit you must have this dish.

We were then on to the “mains”: the charcuterie and cheese plates….for which they are well known. All were outstanding with a special mention for the German Cambozola….a mild blue with a sweet flavor….think triple cream.

No room for dessert this night!
