A must visit in Munich: Dallmayr Delicatessen. A Deli…like no other, with restaurants and bar which date from 1700. It has been in this location since 1870. Where to start? Well, as you walk through the entrance, you’ll be overwhelmed by the magnitude of what you see. You name a food, cheese, candy, tea, wine…they...

A bit of the old country: Mavens Market. Upscale market and deli just west of the downtown corridor. If you’re looking for breakfast or lunch you should give this place a try. The food is excellent and even though we didn’t try the gelato this visit, it’s definitely on the list for our next visit....

Wine anyone? Slough Food. Nice little spot to pick up some wine, cheese and charcuterie for later…or enjoy it in their courtyard. They also offer soups, salads and sandwiches. This visit, unfortunately, we only sampled some sparkling water since we weren’t hungry. Will definitely have to try them again. Friendly service. Visit website
