Mexican food abounds in Eastern Washington with this spot offering a bit of a Mayan touch: Carlos 1800 Mexican Grill & Cantina.
Couldn’t get a table at our first choice so we decided to try this place and were not disappointed. The service was a bit sketchy to start…. a lot of new help in Winthrop…but once our waiter arrived he was outstanding. One of those people who can take a dinner order for 7 people without writing any of it down…all delivered without a hitch.
Their specialty is Mayan food so you may see a few things that are less typical but they also have the regulars…burritos, enchiladas, mole, taco salad etc. Extensive Margaretta selection as well as Mexican and local beers.
