Breakfast anyone: Fuel + Forest. Problem with this place isn’t the food…it is very good…..but finding it. The address takes you to a large building with a number of retail shops and offices. It’s not there. Follow the signs to visitor parking, which is behind the building, and……that’s where you’ll find this local spot for breakfast....

Chocolate: XOCO. Artisanal chocolates made with real passion by a mother and son team. The space is small but the offerings are numerous and as best I could tell….nothing here disappoints. The truffles should not be missed….salted caramel is outstanding. So, get off the Sea to Sky Highway and give this spot a try on...

Room with a view: Sea to Sky Eatery. If you’re here, it’s worth a try if you need a bite to eat. Typical menu with soups, burgers and crepes. If you need a coffee or espresso fix they have that too. The food is actually quite good. The views are hard to beat…..885 meters or...

This is the place for breakfast: Fergies. Off the beaten path….actually located in Brackendale which is about a 15 to 20 minute drive north of Squamish and a few kilometers off of Highway 99 so Google it for directions. The space is interesting…..like a house trailer with vaulted ceilings….but oddly inviting. Perhaps it’s the wood...

Coffee spot: Zephyr Cafe. Eclectic space in the heart if downtown. In addition to coffee and espresso they have soups, burgers, wraps and rice bowls. The coffee and espresso were very good and the soup was also good on this chilly day. Visit website
