Coffee and a biscuit: Argonaut.
What attracted my attention was the description of the buttermilk biscuits so I had to experience one. They didn’t disappoint! Have a plain one with fruit preserves & butter, a savory one with butter & Maldon salt…or for the ultimate experience…as a breakfast sandwich. They come in a couple of varieties but my choice was the egg patty with ham…things go better with pork…and Tillamook cheese. You can have it on a rustic bun but, why do that when you can sub a buttermilk biscuit. Outstandingly delicious!
Get there early for the best choices since the baked goods and biscuits are limited and when they run out…you’ll have to come back the next day.
Oh, they also have coffee. The beans are from our favorite roaster, Blue Star.
It’s a small place with a few tables outside as well.
This place needs to be on your radar when you visit Leavenworth.
