New spot: Cob + Cork.

You never know what the experience will be but this place looked interesting from the road so we decided to give it a try. It did not disappoint and I continue to be amazed by the quality of food you find in the most unlikely places. This place was no exception.

We visited on a Sunday during brunch hours so choices ranged widely from the farmer’s breakfast to French toast to burgers to a porchetta roll. We went with the PNW steamer bowl and the crab mac + cheese. Both were excellent. Small but interesting wine and cocktail list with French wines by the glass on the specials list the day we visited. The 2013 Tautavel Rouge, a blend of grenache, syrah and carignan was excellent.

They opened early summer 2021 and are now open Weds through Sunday so stop by and give them a try on your next trip to the area. You won’t regret it.

Good service.
