Old favorite: Duke’s.
One of several restaurants by this name and others throughout the Islands and California by the same restaurant group. It’s a bit touristy but you need to go at least once in your life. This location is all about the surfing legend, Duke Kahanamoku.
The food is always solid and good and it’s basically about seafood….fish done several ways and shrimp. They also have the obligatory pork/ribs as well as burgers……if you are so inclined.
A must have is the dessert, Hula Pie……get it here or at Kimo’s, a sister restaurant in Lahaina. You’ll probably need at least 2 people or you’ll have difficulty….I think….eating it all.
Request an outside table….it’s always busy so you’ll also need a reservation. The location and views are exceptional.
