Espresso in a shipping container: The Perch.
Under tress and in a small park, it looked interesting, so we gave it a try.
As usual…my choice was a mocha. While I’m not a barista, I do have a bit of experience with espresso so I have to mention a pet peeve. Please steam milk to the proper temperature and consistency. There is a difference between hot milk…..with chocolate….also known as hot chocolate, and a mocha latte. It’s not only about getting the espresso shots right but the consistency, mouthfeel and temperature of well done steamed milk is integral to the final experience. Wasn’t quite to the mark on this visit. That said, this “failure” is very common in my experience.
