Always up for more ice cream: Big Spoon.

Nice small space offering small batch artisan ice creams that change seasonally. Story has it that the husband and wife team started by selling their wares out of an ice cream trike in 2014 then migrated to a truck followed by opening a storefront in 2017.

Choices are eclectic ranging from brown butter pecan to pumpkin cheesecake to goat cheese caramel apple pie to sourdough French toast to….I think you get the picture. My choice was a combo….a scoop of espresso hazelnut and a scoop of salted caramel all served up in a chocolate waffle cone…..excellent all around. They also offer unique “sammies”…ice cream sandwiches which sound intriguing to say the least….pumpkin cheesecake…..spiced pumpkin, cream cheese and chewy gingersnap cookies, for example.

The space is clean and modern and the service, very good. You can eat inside or outside where games, like cornhole, are to be had.
