A hot dog in Iceland, really? Baejarins Beztu Pylsur.
Not your average dog…this one is made mostly of lamb with a bit of beef and pork added to round it out. The stands are found all around Reykjavik so they are easy to find.
I had the Clinton…a dog with mustard only. Story goes that Bill Clinton was walking by and was offered one…he was on a diet…after his bypass surgery (but before his stents) so he had the “low calorie” option.
While simple, they are quite good so find one while you’re in Iceland!
