Mixed Plate: Buddha Bruddah.

A bit of Hawaii in Mount Baker/Kenmore. Reminds me of Tinroof on Maui but it’s 3 times larger inside which makes dining here much more pleasant…even if it’s not Maui!

Great menu of mixed plates, including loco moco, on one visit my choice was…the siu BBQ pork which arrived with a large portion of pork and the typical sides of rice; Asian and macaroni salad. The pork was perfectly prepared and the mac salad, very tasty. I did add some nuoc cham to the rice which brought with it a bit of spiciness…I plan to taste all the “fixins” on subsequent visits.

Also give the tempura shrimp a try…the dish is made by the dashi tentsuyu dipping sauce. Excellent flavors.

Service was excellent and friendly.

Another plus, they are located a 1/2 mile walk from the Mt Baker Light Rail station making a visit all the easier.

They are not open on Sundays.

There are also locations in Kenmore very near Log Boom Park and in Kirkland in the Kingsgate Plaza. A food truck version is also available.
