French bistro in Hayes Valley: Chez Maman.
Nice corner spot with plenty of outdoor seating which makes it a good choice for lunch.
Had the savoyarde crepe which was very good…just like what you’d experience in the Savoie region of France. Also offer French onion soup, croque monsieur and madame as well as escargots. So, it’s French, pretty much. A bit off the French theme they also offer burgers including the Impossible Burger. So, have a burger…if you must!
Best affogato I’ve had which probably had something to do with the rum raisin ice cream…delicious.
