Chef’s tasting menu: Forsythia.

Modern French cuisine in the heart of the Old City. Even though it was a dinner for 15 the chef’s tasting menu ran the gamut of his offerings.

Everything tasted was outstanding but the escargot a’ la provençale was a standout as was the wagyu beef tartar followed by the oysters that were made by the accompanying mignonette.  Give the Icelandic cod a try…best I’ve ever had! Perfectly seared with tons of flavor. Not your typical bland piece of cod. The duck is delicious as well.

Also have had a selection of desserts with my favorite, so far, the caramel tart.

Wines lean Old World and French but orange wines are also available.
