One of our go to places: Roost.
This place is all about chicken…fried with bbq sauce, fried without, or on a sandwich., or on a waffle..it’s amazing you don’t hear clucks as you enter…you get the picture.
It’s been featured on Diners-Drive-Ins and Dives for good reason. If you like spicy bbq, they have it here. Want Alabama white sauce, they have it here. But, for my taste, the sweet heat is the way to go but don’t get me started on bbq and the correct sauce.
They’re from Tennessee which is a football issue but, for fried chicken, this is the place.
My only ask…how about some pork!
