A bit of a tourist place but the: Granville Public Market is worth a visit
Like the Pike Place Market in Seattle most Vancouverites don’t admit to going there since it’s mostly for tourist but, if you can deal with the traffic or go early, there are some great finds to be had. Based on the number of people there on a busy day much of Vancouver has to be there as well!
The market is very large…almost a city block…with fresh produce, bakeries, flowers shops and all manner of meat opportunities. On this visit I made a quick purchase of these beautiful and unique chocolates from a local BC chocolatier: Chocolatas
